To visit Rocamadour, head for the Saint-Sauveur basilica and the Saint Amadour crypt, classified as a Unesco World Heritage site. Climb the 216 steps of the Grand Staircase, pass through the doors of the Basilica and the 7 chapels. If after all that you’re still feeling energetic, there are many hiking trails for you to discover the surrounding areas of Rocamadour.

The city of Rocamadour has a mysterious atmosphere. According to the Book of Miracles written in 1172, Our Lady of Rocamadour cured illnesses, delivered prisoners, saved sailors and protected them during war.
