Visit the first French underground natural heritage site
The chasm plunges 75 meters from the surface of the causse. At the bottom, 103 meters below ground, the river of Padirac flows. It flows through a network of underground galleries of over 40 km!
Just over 1 km of galleries are accessible during your visit. The tour begins on a boat manoeuvred by a boatman. The visit will allow you to discover the Grande Pendeloque, a stalactite of more than 60 meters long, suspended above the Lac de la Pluie (Rainy Lake). There is also the Lac des Gours and the Salle du Grand Dôme with its 94 metre ceiling!

Marvel at the work of time
Underground lakes, sculptures in the shape of pendulums, piles of plates or anything else you can imagine with your family. Each space is illuminated to show off the various caves.
The freshness of the place will certainly strike you! All year round, the air is about 13°c, and the water 12°c. It’s the perfect place for a visit on the hottest days of your holidays.
